Full Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 This prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of Flora, its group companies, its agencies, and anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw or their immediate families are excluded from participation. 
1.2 Entrants must comply at all times with the terms of use of Instagram.

2. Promotional Period

2.1 The Promotional Period runs from 00:01 British Summer Time on 5th August 2026 until 23:59 British Summer Time on 12th August 2026 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received before or after this time are not valid.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To submit a valid entry, you must do all of the following during the Promotional Period:
(a) follow the @bertolliUKI account on Instagram;
(b) follow the @sophiapelizzoli account on Instagram;
(c) like the relevant post by @sophiapelizzoli about this prize draw;
(d) comment “Bertolli Butter & Olive Oil” on the relevant post and tag a friend.
3.2 No purchase is necessary. Internet access and a valid Instagram account are required.
3.3 There is no maximum number of entries and each separate comment that complies with the entry requirements above shall constitute a single and separate entry.
3.4 We accept no responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including where your account privacy settings prevent us from viewing the entry.

4. Content requirements and grounds for disqualification

4.1 Entries must be the entrant’s own original content and must not include or infringe any third party intellectual property rights, image rights or personality rights.
4.2 Entries must not contain any content which is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or which brings Flora, its brands, or any third party into disrepute. Entries must not feature or promote any competitor product or brand.
4.3 We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or that we consider, in our reasonable discretion, to be unsuitable for association with the Bertolli brand.

5. The Prize

5.1 One prize is available. The prize is a bundle consisting of one Sophia Pelizzoli ceramic bowl; one pack of Bertolli Spreadable with Butter & Olive Oil; one Bertolli apron; one jar giant chickpeas; one mini spatula; one Bertolli t-shirt; and one Bertolli branded cooler bag. 
5.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. In the event any element of the prize is unavailable, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to substitute the prize (or any part of it) with an alternative of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Selection

6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period, by us using a random selection process, within 10 working days after the close of the Promotional Period.
6.2 An entry is only valid where you have completed all steps set out in clause 3.1 during the Promotional Period.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Acceptance

7.1 The winner will be notified by direct message via the Instagram account from which they entered within 10 working days of the draw. The winner will be asked to provide an email address and other personal details for prize fulfilment.
7.2 If a winner does not respond within 5 days of the initial contact or fails to provide the requested information, we reserve the right to select a substitute winner in the same manner. 
7.3 The prize will be dispatched to the confirmed winner within 30 days of confirmation of the winner's details, by post.

8. Publication of Winners

8.1 Flora must either publish or make available information required to establish a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Flora will make available the surname and county of the prize winners to anyone who emails amy.susskind@florafg.com or writes to FAO Bertolli Recipe Prize Draw, 14-21 Rushworth Street, London, SE1 0RB within two months of the closing date of the Promotional Period.
8.2 If a winner objects to their surname or county being published or made available, they must contact Flora using the details above. In such circumstances, Flora must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

9. Fair Play

9.1 We are committed to running a fair and secure Prize Draw. Where an entrant enters, or attempts to enter, in a manner that is inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entry, together with any other entries submitted by the same entrant (including through any alias, alternative account or other identity), and to declare void, and recover, any prize already awarded. In particular, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to:
(a) verify the identity, age and eligibility of any entrant or winner, and to require the production of such information or evidence as we reasonably consider necessary for this purpose;
(b) disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;
(c) disqualify any entrant who tampers with, or attempts to interfere with, the entry process, or who uses multiple accounts or manipulated identities; and
(d) cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Prize Draw in whole or in part where, in our reasonable opinion, the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.

10. Liability

10.1 We will not be responsible for any loss, damage or cost you may suffer in connection with this Prize Draw, or from accepting or using your prize, unless it is caused by our negligence or is a type of loss that cannot be excluded under the law. In particular, we do not exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
10.2 We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to meet our obligations under these Terms and Conditions where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes, for example, extreme weather, fire, illness outbreaks such as an epidemic or pandemic, strikes, war or terrorism, civil unrest, or a failure of technology or communications networks.

11. Platform disclaimer

11.1 This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or its affiliates. Instagram is not responsible for any element of this prize draw.

12. Data protection

12.1 Personal data supplied for this prize draw will be used for the purpose of running the prize draw by Flora and by any agent appointed by us to assist with running the prize draw, in accordance with Flora’s privacy policy at https://www.florafoodgroup.com/privacypolicy.
12.2 We will retain winners' personal data for the period necessary to administer the prize draw, dispatch prizes, respond to complaints, and comply with our legal obligations.

13. General

13.1 If any part of these Terms and Conditions is legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
13.2 By entering, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
13.3 If there is any discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and any promotional material, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
13.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and their interpretation and application are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
